Terms & Conditions – Coastal Stage & Style

By engaging Coastal Stage & Style for property styling, event hire, or product purchase, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These have been developed to ensure clarity, consistency and the highest standard of service for all clients.

Styling Services & Hire

Install Timeline & Availability

We operate on a 7-day lead time from quote acceptance to installation. This allows us to carefully select the best suited pieces for your property and provide a smooth, stress free service. We own our full inventory, so if we have availability in our calendar, we can complete your styling within 7 days.

Indicative Online Pricing

Pricing shown through our online booking system is indicative only, based on standard property types and sizes. A stylist will follow up within 24–48 hours to visit your property (or review imagery) and refine your quote. Final pricing may vary depending on access, layout, number of rooms and specific styling needs.

Booking Confirmation

Your booking is considered tentative until your revised quote has been approved and your invoice has been paid in full. Dates are not guaranteed until payment is received.

Hire Period & Extensions

• Standard hire period is 4 weeks for property styling/staging.
• Should your campaign require more time, we offer extension options as outlined in your final quote and invoice.
• Early collection can be arranged at no charge. However, no refunds apply if the styling period ends earlier than expected (e.g. your home sells quickly).

Artwork Hanging

We will always try to use existing hooks wherever possible. However, if required, we may install additional wall hooks to complete your styling. This will be done professionally by a qualified team member.

• We do not use 3M hooks or temporary adhesives, as they can damage surfaces and compromise safety.
• Hooks will remain in the wall for the new owner.
• Coastal Stage & Style is not responsible for patching, painting or removing hooks once staging is complete.

Living in a Styled Home

You are welcome to live in the property while it is styled, as long as this is confirmed during the consultation. All hire items are fully insured for fire and theft, but are not covered for accidental or malicious damage.

You are responsible for maintaining all items in their original condition. Please treat everything with care, and let us know immediately if something is damaged.

Pets

We love pets, but unfortunately, they have caused issues with rugs and furnishings in the past. If pets will remain in the home during the staging period, you must notify us so that we can make appropriate styling decisions. Any damage caused by pets is the client’s responsibility.

Use of Items

All hire items remain the property of Coastal Stage & Style and must not be moved, relocated, or stored externally without written permission. Items must only be used within the staged area as styled by our team.

Product Sales

All purchases of furniture, decor or homewares are subject to our Refunds & Returns Policy, which can be found here or included with your invoice.

Pre-loved or ex-styled items are final sale. New furniture and decor may be returned within 7 days if unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless otherwise arranged.

Photography Usage

We reserve the right to photograph styled homes or events for our portfolio, marketing, or social media. If you'd prefer your space or name not be used publicly, just let us know in writing.

Liability

While we take the utmost care in all installs and removals, Coastal Stage & Style is not liable for any incidental damage that occurs during staging or de-staging. You agree to notify us of any existing issues, fragile areas, or sensitive access points prior to install.
